Silent Assassin, Asperger’s and Me
“My Legacy, A Silent Voice”
I went through a diagnosis of autism in 2010 and was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome in 2014. My carers asked me to write a book on my life experiences in which I have added a website.
“My Legacy, A Silent Voice” is an e-book about my experience in The care System ,football violence, crime, and Autism which is NOW LAUNCHED free with Kindle Unlimited Membership or £6.60 to buy. Below are extracts from the book.
I wrote an e-book as a sign of respect for my carers. I am hoping that the book shows that I have reached a level of confidence in being independent. You will also find information on Autism in the adjoining pages. Please feel free to leave a question or comment on the contact page.

The care System
Back at the school in Manchester, the teachers asked me what science subjects I liked and languages also. I was taken to chemistry and physics class in the same afternoon and decided straight away that physics was the business and for languages German was the best language ever as it sang to me, I responded accordingly. I sat on the front desk of every lesson with other pupils taking in every number, word and symbol, this was great! We also had a choice of French and Spanish which I struggled with for some reason. I could learn Latin as I was told I was more than capable but chose not to. It was time to move onto the next care home three quarters of the way through year 7.
Football Violence
From the start of Joining this firm, every hooligan member knew I was not into fighting but knew I would step in if necessary, to make up the numbers. Sometimes I threw a punch or two as there was someone from the opposing firm who pointed me out personally, calling me names about my skin colour, basically acting a right fool in front of their firm, on some occasions I would have a full on one to one scuffle. This happened with one of Man city’s firms in Lancashire at a bus station. They stepped off the train station and called out the hooligans. Our little firm was already in town and got word that Man City was waiting. We gathered our little crew together and set off to the train station. Man city was small in numbers but up for a good row.
Crime
That night I was reading from the good book and managed to get a lined exercise book and pen. I started to write down chapters and verses from the good book just to keep my mind occupied. This guy came over to the table turned the radio off and went back to the top bunk. I looked at him, turned the radio back on and continued writing as I did this, he jumped off the top bunk and turned the radio off again. I asked what the problem was as he stepped to me and told me to “shut the f**k up and sit down”. I stood my ground and told him to “get the f**k out of my face”while I am in my zone. As I said this he walked up to me with the blanket around himself as I clenched my fists for a real tear up, the cell door was locked for the evening as I thought to myself ‘either fight and win this one or back down’, backing down was not an option.
Autism
This affected my days off. I could not physically move no matter how hard I tried. For months I would be asked to work on four bars on every busy shift without a break, being shouted at, being called a waste of time. I told Anabel who was not liking the way I was treated by the management.
